Manama, June 22 (BNA): As part of the health preparations for Ashoora 1448 AH, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, opened the Imam Hussain Medical Clinic in Manama.

Dr. Hassan thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their support of the health sector.

She praised the cooperation between the Ministry of Interior, other ministries, and pertinent authorities, as well as the coordinated efforts and protocols meant to facilitate the conditions necessary to guarantee Ashoora’s success.

The Imam Hussain Medical Clinic’s launch, according to the Health Minister, reflects the degree of preparedness and effectiveness of medical and nursing teams and is part of a collaborative effort to provide integrated medical services for Ashoora participants. She mentioned that the clinic has all the equipment, medications, and medical supplies needed to respond quickly to various instances.

She also congratulated the medical, nursing, administrative personnel and volunteers working at the clinic for their professional competence and capacities in delivering healthcare services to people and communities.

According to Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh, Vice Chairman of the Islamic Endowments Council, national initiatives to improve health preparedness during Ashoora represent a sophisticated model of integration between official and community institutions, guaranteeing a secure and healthful environment for attendees.

According to him, the launch of the Imam Hussain Medical Clinic is a significant turning point in Ashoora’s supporting services system and demonstrates collaboration between community organizations and health authorities, improving participants’ health readiness and reaction.

Al Saleh continued, “The clinic is one of the leading community initiatives supporting national efforts in health and safety because it plays a crucial role in providing healthcare and emergency medical services, supported by specialized medical and nursing expertise.”

He praised the efforts of physicians, nurses, volunteers, and clinic administrators in carrying out their humanitarian and national duties, as well as the coordination and assistance offered by the Ministry of Health, government hospitals, and primary healthcare facilities.

The Chief Executive Officer of Primary Healthcare Centers, Dr. Ijlal Faisal Al Alawi, stated that the centers have finished their health preparations for Ashoora 1448 AH by supplying trained medical personnel and outfitting the Imam Hussain Medical Clinic with the required medical supplies and equipment, guaranteeing integrated healthcare services and a prompt response to cases requiring medical attention.

The degree of integration and coordination between various health bodies and supporting partners is reflected in the success of healthcare services during Ashoora, she continued.
