Manama, June 29 (BNA): In accordance with the orders of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Government Hospitals Administration has approved the expansion of the “Tammini” (Reassure Me) platform, initiating its implementation after it won the People’s Choice Award in the seventh edition of the Fikra Government Innovation Competition.
Government Hospitals approve expansion of Tammini platform services to enhance patient experience
The progressive implementation, which intends to increase the platform’s services while guaranteeing quality, operational effectiveness, and long-term sustainability, has been overseen by a special committee.
Intensive care units, operating rooms, maternity wards, endoscopy services, the Accident and Emergency admissions department, specialty and isolation wards, the Outpatient Appointments Call Center, and the Wound Care Clinic are among the sixteen crucial departments where the platform will be introduced in the first phase.
In order to improve service delivery and streamline communication, the phase will also incorporate a number of patient communication and support services into the Tammini platform, including private healthcare services, the multidisciplinary Sickle Cell Disease Clinic, the National Bank of Bahrain Multiple Sclerosis Center, pharmacy and social services, and the Patient Relations Office.
According to Government Hospitals, a public awareness campaign, staff training, and technical improvements will all help to support the increase. The platform will be expanded to 66 more general wards in the second phase, bringing the total number of treatment locations across its healthcare institutions to over 85.
Government Hospitals confirmed that Bahrain’s dedication to providing patient-centered healthcare by fusing innovation, digital technologies, and superior services is reflected in the Tammini platform.
