Manama, June 28 (BNA): Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of Humanitarian Voluntary Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), visited several homes that benefited from the “Reassured Homes” initiative, which was carried out by the Humanitarian Volunteer Initiatives team “Sheyam Al Khair” with the assistance of GFH Foundation, the charitable arm of GFH Bank.

With the help of more than 50 volunteers split into eight working groups, the effort, which embodied the values of social solidarity, humanitarian work, and volunteering, involved outfitting more than 20 homes for widows, orphans, and families in need throughout the governorates of the Kingdom.
On the occasion, HH Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser emphasized that the goal of this program is to promote a culture of voluntary work in order to assist families in need and enhance their living conditions, as well as to disseminate generosity and community compassion.
Her Highness praised the GFH Foundation’s assistance in ensuring the initiative’s success, as well as the efforts of the “Sheyam Al Khair” team and the volunteers who assisted in its implementation and the accountability, commitment, and collaboration they displayed.
Several beneficiary families, on their part, conveyed their thanks and admiration to HH Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser, stating that this humanitarian act improved their living circumstances and made them happy.
The “Reassured Homes” project is a part of a number of community and humanitarian projects run by the “Sheyam Al Khair” team, which aims to uphold the admirable humanitarian ideals that define Bahraini society by fostering social solidarity and providing assistance to underprivileged populations.
