Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, and Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, made the announcement while on a field visit.
The government is repairing the first group of properties damaged by the Iranian strikes. Thirty homes in Al Hidd Housing City, nineteen in Sitra, and twenty-two in other locations make up this batch of housing units. Every technical and engineering task that was required has been finished.
According to Minister Al Hawaj, the Ministry of Works has carried out the repairs in stages, giving priority to the most damaged housing units, in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. In order to guarantee that the units are prepared for occupation, he pointed out that all work pertaining to the building and services was carried out in compliance with applicable technical standards.
Minister Al Rumaihi stated that in order to guarantee the action plan’s seamless execution, cooperation amongst pertinent entities is continuing. This covers damage assessment, case-specific repairs and solutions, and compensation processes. In order to allow impacted families to return to their homes as soon as possible, she continued, efforts are being made to finish the remaining stages quickly.
In order to ensure prompt completion, the Housing Minister stated that work is moving forward to finish repairs to the remaining damaged properties while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Documentation and damage assessment were part of the process used to handle compensation for damage to household belongings. This guarantees an all-encompassing strategy that supports the complete restoration of living circumstances and extends beyond structural repairs.
Families whose completely equipped apartments in Salman City suffered significant damage were temporarily transferred by the Housing Ministry until repairs were finished. Families will receive their homes when they are completely prepared.
