Manama, April 26 (BNA): The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) declared that all tourism establishments, including hotels, hotel flats, furnished apartments, and tourist eateries, are eligible for an optional first-quarter fee deferral.

In collaboration with the private sector, the action aims to assist business continuity and improve the tourist industry’s flexibility, increasing the Kingdom’s competitiveness as a travel destination.
In order to accelerate the rate of tourism activity toward its predetermined goals, the BTEA affirmed that it will continue to assess the sector’s needs and provide measures that promote its development. It stated that information on submitting applications will be made public via the official channels of the authority.
