تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2، مناما (البرلمان الوطني): عين الشيخ خالد بن عبد الله آل خليفة، نائب رئيس الوزراء، صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة، ولي العهد ورئيس الوزراء، لافتتاح منتدى بوابة الخليج الثالث 2025. وسيحضر الاجتماع أكثر من 200 من صانعي القرار من مجلس التعاون الخليجي، وآسيا، وأوروبا، وأمريكا الشمالية، الذي ينظمه مجلس التنمية الاقتصادية في الفترة من 2 إلى 3 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر.

وأكد نائب رئيس الوزراء أن هدف جلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة المتمثل في إنشاء مملكة البحرين كمركز اقتصادي إقليمي مفتوح ينعكس في استضافة البلد لمنتدى بوابة الخليج للسنة الثالثة على التوالي. وأشار إلى أن الاجتماع يعكس أيضاً توجيهات رئيس الوزراء ومرصد حقوق الإنسان في مجلس ولي العهد لتحسين الروابط الاقتصادية وتهيئة آفاق استثمار طويلة الأجل في الصناعات الرئيسية.
وأكد الشيخ خالد بن عبد الله أن موضوع حدث هذا العام، " إعادة النظر في الاستثمار العالمي من أجل الديناميات التجارية الجديدة " ، يمثل فهما عميقا للقضايا المعاصرة وضرورة تعزيز التكامل الإقليمي وتطوير سبل جديدة للتنمية المستدامة. وأشار إلى أن دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي قد برزت كمشاركين رئيسيين في الساحة الاقتصادية العالمية الجديدة بفضل بنيتها التحتية المتطورة ووفرة الناس والموارد المالية.
وركز على تنفيذ البحرين المستمر لتصورها الاقتصادي لعام 2030، الذي يقوم على الإنصاف والقدرة التنافسية والاستدامة، ويدعمه إطار قانوني مرن، وسكان محليون مهرة، وبنية أساسية رقمية متطورة. وأكد الشيخ خالد بن عبد الله على الجهود التي تبذلها المملكة لزيادة إمكانات القطاعات غير النفطية إلى أقصى حد، التي تمثل حاليا أكثر من 86 في المائة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي وتظهر فعالية سياساتها للتنويع الاقتصادي، التي تشمل نمو الصناعات الواعدة وتعزيز الشراكات بين القطاعين العام والخاص.
ورحب نائب رئيس الوزراء بحضور المنتدى على مستوى رفيع، الذي يضم مستثمرين بارزين وزعماء اقتصاديين إقليميين وعالميين، وأعرب عن أمله في أن تؤدي المناقشات إلى مبادرات من شأنها تحسين الروابط الاقتصادية الإقليمية والعالمية. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، أشاد بمساهمات مجلس التنمية الاقتصادية وغيرها من الشركاء في تنظيم المحفل.

وقد سحبت مملكة البحرين ما يزيد على ١٧ بليون دولار من الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر منذ خليج البوابة الأول في عام ٢٠١٨، وفقا لتوجيهات صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة لتشجيع اقتصاد مفتوح وتنافسي يولد فرصا للجميع. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، سنكشف عن مشاريع يبلغ مجموعها 17 بليون دولار إضافية خلال اليومين المقبلين من خلال 61 إعلانا و 33 احتفالا بالتوقيع.
