Manama, Oct. 2 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain hosted the first Bahrain Kidney Health and Transplantation Conference and the 17th Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation Conference.

Alongside several experts from regional and global health and academic institutions, the event was attended by Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, and Minister of Health Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan.
The conference, which is being organized by the Government Hospitals in collaboration with Education Plus and in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Health, the Bahrain Defence Force Royal Medical الخدمات, and the National Committee for Organ Transplantation, will run through October 3, 2025.
Leading doctors, consultants, and specialists from Arab and foreign institutions participate in the program’s specialized lectures, hands-on workshops, and interactive panel discussions. Scientific suggestions to aid in the growth of kidney care services in Bahrain and the surrounding area are anticipated at the end.
