Manama, July 28 (BNA): In collaboration with the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioural and Communication Difficulties, Primary Healthcare Centres opened a sensory room at A’ali Health Centre to offer a therapeutic and educational setting that fosters children’s behavioural and sensory development while improving the standard of care they receive.

Dr. Ejlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive Officer of Primary Healthcare Centers; Dr. Shaikha Rania bint Ali Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral and Communication Difficulties; members of the Board of Trustees; Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showaiter, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Primary الرعاية الصحية Centers; and several other officials attended the inauguration.
The sensory room, according to Dr. Al Alawi, is a reflection of the Primary Healthcare Centers’ dedication to continuing to offer comprehensive and integrated healthcare services that address the requirements of all societal segments. According to her, the program emphasizes the value of collaborations with civil society organizations in creating healthcare services and raising the standard of care given to kids with behavioral and communication issues, promoting their growth and raising their standard of living.
Dr. Shaikha Rania bint Ali Al Khalifa, for her part, praised the collaboration with the Primary Healthcare Centers, pointing out that the sensory room represents a significant advancement in the services offered to kids with behavioral and communication issues. She went on to say that it provides a specialized setting that fosters the growth of kids’ sensory, cognitive, and behavioral المهارات, which benefits their growth and assimilation into society.
