Manama, Aug. 27 (BNA): In the presence of US Department of State representatives, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) hosted a delegation from the US Congress at the Expatriate Protection Center.
LMRA receives US Congress delegation
The delegation was briefed on the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts to maintain a stable workplace that protects the rights of all parties, as well as the Kingdom’s innovative efforts in this area, especially the Regional Center of Excellence and Capacity Building for Combating Trafficking in Persons (RCoE) and the Wage Protection System (WPS).
وشرح للفريق أيضا دور مركز حماية المغتربين في تقديم خدمات شاملة، مثل المشورة القانونية والدعم الوقائي، فضلا عن توفير السكن للضحايا أو الذين قد يكونون معرضين للخطر. كنقطة اتصال أولية للاعتراف بعلامات وكشفها الإنسان ويؤدي المركز أيضا دورا هاما في الاتجار والاستغلال المهني وطني إطار لمكافحة الاتجار بالبشر.
