October 20, Manama (BNA): According to the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), 1,642 inspection campaigns and visits were conducted between October 12 and 18. Of these, 18 violating and irregular workers were detained, while 93 offenders were deported.

In addition to 29 joint inspection campaigns—14 in the Capital Governorate, 7 in the Muharraq Governorate, 3 in the Northern Governorate, and 5 in the Southern Governorate—the Authority noted that 1,613 inspection visits were conducted on various shops across all governorates.
The Ministry of Interior, through the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) division, the Police Directorate of the Governorate, the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, the General Directorate of Crime Detection and Forensic Science, the Coast Guard Command, the البحرين Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA), the Social Insurance Organization, and the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications are among the government agencies that took part in the campaigns.
وأكدت السلطة من جديد استمرار التنسيق التعاوني مع الوكالات الحكومية من أجل زيادة حملات التفتيش في جميع محافظات المملكة ومعالجة أي مخالفات أو ممارسات تعرض للخطر الأمن الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للمملكة أو استقرار سوق العمل وقدرتها على المنافسة.
