September 29, Manama (BNA): According to the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), 1,109 inspection campaigns and visits were conducted between September 21 and 27, 2025. Of these, 19 violating and irregular workers were detained, and 127 offenders were deported.

Legal actions were taken in response to the observed violations of various regulating laws, particularly the Labour Market Regulatory Authority and the Residency Laws in the Kingdom of البحرين, which were discovered as a result of the inspection campaigns and visits.
In addition to 26 joint inspection campaigns—10 in the Capital Governorate, 4 in the Muharraq Governorate, 5 in the Northern Governorate, and 7 in the Southern Governorate—the Authority noted that 1,083 inspection visits were conducted on various shops across all governorates.
The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, the Social Insurance Organization, the Governorate’s respective Police Directorate, and the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), all took part in the campaigns.

By reporting infractions using the electronic form on the authority’s website, www.lmra.gov.bh, by calling the authority’s call center at 17506055, or through the government’s Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul), the Labour Market Regulatory Authority reaffirmed its call for all members of society to assist الحكومة agencies in combating illegal labor practices.
