Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): Bahrain Bourse has reaffirmed its unwavering dedication to the progress of national education and the empowerment of Bahraini youth by extending its sponsorship arrangement with the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust. The extended agreement highlights Bahrain Bourse’s status as a “Supportive Sponsor,” highlighting its crucial role in advancing the Kingdom’s sustainable educational development.

Mashael Al Qutami, Acting Secretary-General and Director of Student and Educational Institutions Affairs at the Trust, and Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Bourse, signed the agreement.

There was Ali Habib Qasim, a member of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust’s board of trustees.

Education is a key component of national growth, according to Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, who praised the Trust’s significant contribution to Bahraini students’ access to higher education. He emphasized Bahrain Bourse’s continued dedication to assisting academic endeavors in line with the tenth Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations, emphasizing that funding education contributes to the development of a knowledge-driven national workforce that may propel economic advancement. He went on to characterize the collaboration as a noteworthy example of collaboration between nonprofit educational organizations and the financial industry.

Ali Habib Qasim praised the extended sponsorship, pointing out that the Trust’s capacity to favorably influence students’ academic achievement and job readiness has been greatly aided by ongoing support from partners like Bahrain Bourse. These collaborations, he continued, enhance the Trust’s ability to expand the scope of its initiatives and assist a greater number of prospective students, especially those who are struggling financially.

Additionally, he emphasized that the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, which was founded in 2013 in memory of the late His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, represents a forward-thinking national vision focused on investing in human capital by offering top-notch educational scholarships.

Mashael Al Qutami highlighted that maintaining the collaboration with Bahrain Bourse promotes the expansion of the Trust’s efforts, expanding its educational programmes, and further cultivating Bahraini talent. According to her, this collaboration shows a common commitment to social responsibility and national cooperation in developing the Kingdom’s education sector.
