October 23, Manama (BNA): As part of initiatives to improve bilateral collaboration between Bahrain and Malaysia in healthcare and medical education, a delegation from the UCSI Group of Malaysia was hosted by Rajaa Sayed Hassan Al Yousif, Deputy Chief Executive of the Government Hospitals.

To learn more about Bahrain’s healthcare system, the visit included discussions with a number of healthcare professionals and a field trip of several healthcare institutions.
In keeping with the Kingdom’s goal to produce highly skilled medical personnel and boost the competitiveness of its national healthcare industry, they also looked into ways to improve collaboration in medical education as well as residency, fellowship, and academic education programs.
The group praised the high caliber of medical care and facilities at Salmaniya Medical Complex and government hospitals, as well as the noteworthy developments that demonstrate Bahrain‘s dominant position in the region’s healthcare industry.
