October 8, Manama (BNA): The third meeting of Bapco Energies’ Board of Directors for 2025 was presided over by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the company’s chairman and His Majesty the King’s representative for youth affairs and humanitarian work.

The meeting received updates on the Bapco Modernization Project (BMP), evaluated group-wide initiatives, and reviewed strategic progress. The Board emphasized integrated value delivery across subsidiaries and alignment with long-term strategic goals as it reviewed developments across major initiatives and recorded third-quarter accomplishments.
Updates on the Bapco Modernization Project emphasized its importance as a pillar in developing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s energy industry and showed ongoing progress as planned.
Along with reviewing the final governance documents that established BxT Trading, a joint venture between Bapco Energies and TotalEnergies, the Board also looked at the status of the onshore deep gas exploration program with EOG, the long-reach drilling in the Khaleej Al Bahrain field, and the 3D seismic survey.
The third-quarter progress, according to Mark Thomas, Group CEO of Bapco Energies, demonstrates the Group’s dedication to carrying out its plan, producing measurable outcomes, boosting competitiveness, and fortifying Bahrain’s energy infrastructure.
