September 28, Manama (BNA): Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, emphasized that the Ministry of Labour has started putting policies into place to provide three job opportunities to each registered job seeker by the end of the year, in collaboration with the private sector, in accordance with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This program intends to boost citizens’ position as important collaborators in creating a more competitive and sustainable economy by improving their integration into the labor market, offering a variety of options, and guaranteeing the quick realization of their goals.

The minister emphasised that Bahrain prioritises its population as the Kingdom’s most valuable resource under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He described the initiative as a significant change in employment policy that gives citizens several options to help economic development.

He emphasized that in order to guarantee prompt execution of the instructions and the display of job openings to registered job seekers, ministry working hours have been extended from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. until the end of the year. He emphasized the strong belief that Bahrain’s human capital is a top-tier national resource.

The minister also emphasized that enhancing the skills of Bahraini individuals is an investment in the country’s future and competitiveness as a top and alluring place to invest.

The minister acknowledged the private sector’s position as a crucial partner of the public sector within Team Bahrain and thanked the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) for its positive response and cooperation in giving residents employment possibilities.
