September 25, Manama (BNA): To commemorate the recovery of a group of youngsters from cancer, the Royal Medical Services (RMS) hosted an awareness event at the Bahrain Oncology Centre. Along with senior officials, medical personnel, and the children’s families, the occasion was attended by Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), and Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Commander of the RMS.

In addition to include symbolic events like ringing the recovery bell and an official recognition ceremony for the kids, the event showcased the kids’ recovery tales. Their families thanked the nursing and medical staff for their support and attention during the course of the therapy.

The children’s accomplishments were praised by the SCH Chairman, who described their recovery tales as an inspiration and a testament of the Kingdom of Bahrain‘s advancements in specialized healthcare. He emphasized how crucial it is to keep up these campaigns to support and educate kids with cancer and their families.

The Royal Medical Services Commander, for his part, reaffirmed the RMS’s dedication to provide the best possible healthcare and to improving treatment, rehabilitation, and psychological support initiatives for patients and their families.

He went on to say that the occasion demonstrated Bahrain’s solidarity ideals and the RMS’s pioneering position in providing a holistic treatment model that takes into account social, psychological, and medical factors.

The occasion demonstrated the Kingdom’s dedication to promoting comprehensive and integrated healthcare and helping children with cancer.
