Manama, Sep. 25 (BNA): At its textile facility in the Al Mazraa Industrial zone in Askar, WestPoint Home Bahrain launched a new production line.

In attendance were Elizabeth Litchfield, Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Bahrain; Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; and Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development.
As a crucial tenet of sustainable economic growth, Minister Fakhro emphasized the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s dedication to assisting the industrial sector. He pointed out that the new manufacturing line is a reflection of the growing industrial and investment cooperation as well as the strong strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States.
Minister Fakhro praised the manufacturing line’s utilization of cutting-edge technologies and emphasized how it contributes to the Kingdom’s industrial infrastructure and national manufacturers’ ability to provide high-quality goods to local, regional, and international markets.
WestPoint Home Bahrain, one of the top US industrial investments in the Kingdom, is taking a big step with this expansion, which supports economic diversification through international partnerships and strengthens Bahrain’s position as a regional industrial hub. It also fits with the Industrial Sector Strategy (2022–2026).
