Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): The Salmaniya Medical Complex’s Dermatology Department’s Short-Stay Surgery Unit was opened by Dr. Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals.

In order to improve patient satisfaction and raise the standard of healthcare services, the new unit is intended to serve patients in need of minor surgical and therapeutic operations that do not require overnight stay.
In keeping with national initiatives to raise the standard and effectiveness of the healthcare system, Dr. Al Jalahma emphasized that the unit’s launch is a component of Government Hospitals’ plan to keep creating specialized services and broadening the range of patient care.
According to her, the unit is a valuable addition to the healthcare system since it offers a cohesive setting that makes it possible for doctors to carry out simple procedures quickly while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
The opening of the facility would enable the department to provide quicker and more effective diagnostic and treatment services for dermatological diseases, according to Dr. Aysha Jumaa Al Mousa, Head of the Dermatology Department at Government Hospitals.
The unit’s opening is a reflection of Government Hospitals‘ continuous efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure, provide cutting-edge patient-centered medical solutions, and enhance national medical competencies.
