Amman, Aug. 19 (BNA): Bahrain won five more medals, including three gold in the doubles and mixed doubles competitions, during the West Asia Table Tennis Championship, which is presently taking place in Amman, Jordan.
Bahrain wins three golds, two silvers in doubles events at West Asia Table Tennis Championship
Bahrain now has 11 medals overall (seven gold, three silver, and one bronze), adding to its success in the team events for both boys and girls.
In the Under-13 Girls’ Doubles, Hessa Abdulrahman and Kinda Mahmoud won gold, extending Bahrain’s impressive performance in this age group. Sayed Ahmed Al Bannaa and Hussein Jaafar won gold in the Under-13 Boys’ Doubles, while Ali Hussein Al Hashemi and Sayed Yousif Al Bannaa won gold in the Under-11 Boys’ Doubles.
In the Mixed Doubles, Rashid Sanad and Kinda Mahmoud took home silver, while Mohammed Abbas and Rashid Sanad earned silver in the Men’s Doubles.
The most recent medals, which include gold for the Men’s Team, Under-11 Boys, Under-13 Boys, and Under-13 Girls teams, silver for the Under-15 Boys team, and bronze for the Under-19 Girls team, add to Bahrain‘s accomplishments in the championship’s boys’ and girls’ age categories.
