Manama, May 16 (BNA): Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, and Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, visited the first phase of the waterfront development project at King Faisal Corniche in Manama to assess the state of the work.

According to Al Mubarak, the project is a component of initiatives to improve the capital’s recreational and service amenities as well as develop waterfront regions.
He mentioned that the project is about 46,000 square meters in size and consists of green spaces, play areas, sports facilities, walking, running, and cycling tracks, and service buildings.
The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, according to Minister Al Mubarak, is still carrying out initiatives to improve municipal and recreational services, expand green areas, and build infrastructure.
Al Hawaj stated that the project is part of continuous efforts to develop public facilities and infrastructure, and that construction is proceeding as planned.
He continued by saying that the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture are still working together on projects to enhance public services and infrastructure throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.
