Manama, April 14 (BNA): In order to give students and parents thorough information about the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in government schools and to support the development of educational outcomes in accordance with international standards, the Ministry of Education launched a dedicated webpage on its official website (moe.gov.bh).
Education Ministry launches webpage on IB programme in government schools
An outline of the program and its educational goals are provided on the webpage, along with information about the benefits of earning an IB qualification for admission to both domestic and foreign universities.
Along with guidelines for pupils interested in enrolling in the program, it also describes how the program is implemented in government schools, approved curricula, nomination requirements and procedures, and the list of participating schools.
The ministry encouraged parents and kids to check the program’s specifics and prerequisites on the dedicated portal and to register between April 14 and April 21. Parents of pupils who fit the nomination and evaluation requirements will be contacted by the government; the first cohort is expected to start the program in September.
