Manama, March 30 (BNA): Today’s weekly Cabinet Meeting was presided over by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, visited those injured in the recent hostile Iranian action and is currently undergoing medical treatment. The Cabinet praised this visit during the meeting. The visit, the Cabinet emphasized, shows His Majesty’s dedication to personally monitoring the injured and their care.
In appreciation of the national workforce’s efforts, including those in the military, security, and civilian sectors, and to bolster their resolve to carry out their national obligations, the Cabinet thanked HM the King for the royal visits. The Cabinet wished them a speedy recovery.
The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), the National Guard, the Ministry of Interior, and all other military, security, and civil authorities were commended by the Cabinet for their efforts, high-level preparedness, and effectiveness in handling recent occurrences.
The Cabinet also praised Bahraini nationals who are members of Team Bahrain for their commitment, expertise, and contributions to the Kingdom’s various sectors.
The Cabinet also examined strategies put in place to deal with the effects of the hostile Iranian action against the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as to guarantee the seamless operation of supply chains and the availability of goods and services.
The joint statement from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which strongly denounced the obvious actions of aggression by Iran, was emphasized by the Cabinet. The Cabinet emphasized that this condemnation encompasses all types of aggression, whether they are carried out directly by Iran or through its proxies and armed organizations operating in the region. The most recent examples of this include the attacks that Iranian-backed militias from the Republic of Iraq undertook against several countries.
The Cabinet recognized the importance of the International Day of Conscience as a testament to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s unwavering dedication to advancing world peace and security.
The Cabinet congratulated the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) on the successful election of its Board of Directors for its thirty-first session.
After reviewing a number of memoranda from ministerial committees, the Cabinet approved the following:
1. A proposed law that modifies certain of the legislative decree’s requirements for the creation and management of industrial zones.
2. Developing the outdoor midday work ban’s implementation based on prior years’ results. The Cabinet ordered that this year’s noon work prohibition, which applies to labor done outside or in direct sunlight, last for two and a half months, from June 15 to August 31.
3. The government’s reaction to several ideas and draft laws that the Council of Representatives provided.
The following ministerial reports were also examined by the Cabinet:
1. The results of Bahrain’s involvement in the consultative ministerial meeting about Iran’s hostile aggression against the GCC, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Turkey, and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

2. The results of the Republic of Cyprus’s Foreign Affairs Minister’s visit to Bahrain.
3. The results of Bahrain’s ministerial participation in the 165th ordinary session of the League of Arab States Council.
3. The results of Bahrain’s attendance at the GCC Committee of Transport Ministers’ 28th extraordinary meeting.
4. In April 2026, ministers from ally nations visited the Kingdom of Bahrain and participated in external events.
