By enabling immediate electronic settlement of enforcement-related payments, the new service improves the judicial payment system by cutting processing times from three working days to an automated real-time transaction. In order to give customers a more effective and accessible experience, the effort has also reduced the amount of necessary documents in half, simplified the procedure to no more than four stages, and included an enhanced user interface.

The service enables people, businesses, and organizations subject to civil and Sharia enforcement rulings to electronically settle outstanding payments through the application, according to Sabah Tariq Adhbi Al Jalahma, Director of the Judicial Accounts Directorate at the ministry.

According to Al Jalahma, the system automatically distributes monies among creditors in line with the legally mandated order of priority, and payments are immediately sent to recipients’ bank accounts when International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs) are accessible.

The effort, according to Shafaq Al Kooheji, Assistant General Manager of Payment Services at Benefit Company, shows how digital payment solutions are increasingly improving the delivery of government services by making transactions quicker, easier, and more secure.

She went on to say that combining government services with safe and easy-to-use digital payment options promotes the broader acceptance of electronic payments in important industries, enhances the effectiveness of financial transactions, meets the needs of people and companies, and advances Bahrain’s goals for digital transformation.

The service is a component of the government’s larger initiative to improve and modernize public services. Over 1,300 government services have been recorded, translated, and published, and 800 have been redesigned and enhanced throughout government agencies in response to input from investors, mystery shoppers, and the national suggestions and complaints system (Tawasul).

In order to raise service standards, expedite processes, and enhance the general customer experience, the program has also implemented service manuals and service level agreements.
