Manama, May 1 (BNA): In accordance with the approved pricing system and taking into account changes in the worldwide market, the fuel Pricing and Monitoring Committee announced fuel prices for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s local market for May.

According to the committee, the following new pricing for Jeyyid (91), Mumtaz (95), Super (98), and diesel will go into effect on May 2:

- Jayyid (91): BD 0.233 per litre
- Mumtaz (95): BD 0.269 per litre
- Super (98): BD 0.362 per litre
- Diesel: BD 0.229 per litre

The committee affirmed that Bahraini fishermen will continue to get diesel support. It further stated that it will keep an eye on changes in the world market and take the appropriate action to guarantee fair prices that are consistent with the state of the economy.
