شارك صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة في إطلاق الطبعة الرابعة من مهرجان ليلة المحرقة، الذي عقد في إطار الاحتفال ببحر البحرين.

وتقام الاحتفالات على طول طريق اللؤلؤ، من قلعة بو ماهر إلى متحف اللؤلؤ - سيادي ماليس، محتفلة بتاريخ الجمجمة الغني والنابض.
وأكد صاحب السمو أن الكرنفالات والمناسبات العامة التي تقام في مملكة البحرين تمثل دفعة هامة للسياحة والثغرة، مؤكدا أن الأحداث المماثلة تعكس تراث المملكة ونجاحاتها على مر الزمن بفضل قيادة جلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة، وتوجيهات صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة، ولي العهد ورئيس الوزراء.
وأشار السيد الشيخ محمد بن سلمان إلى أن مهرجان ليلة المحرقة هو حدث بارز في إطار الجدول الزمني للاحتفال ببحرين سيسون، والاحتفال بهوية البحرين وتراث محرقة الذي طال أمده، والإسهام في تعزيز موقف المملكة كوجهة محاذية للشعوب الأصلية.
وشدّد صاحب السمو على أن النجاح المستمر لهذه الأحداث وإظهار الثقافة والتراث الأغنياء في المملكة يعكس التزام البحرين بتعزيز قطاع السياحة.
وقام الشيخ محمد بن سلمان بتكليف منظمة اليوبيل المتميزة، معرباً عن تقديره للتعرق الذي يتعرق به المنظمون في الضغط على الهوية الفنية الحقيقية لموهرق، ودعم وجوده كوجهة فنية نابضة بالحياة.
ومن جهته، أعرب فخامة الشيخ خليفة بن أحمد بن عبد الله آل خليفة، رئيس هيئة البحرين للثقافة والمسنين، عن تقديره الخالص لحضوره لمناسبات المملكة الفنية والتراثية ودعمه المستمر لها.
وأكد صاحب السعادة أن اليوبيل قد أثبت بقوة أنه أحد أبرز الأحداث الفنية في البحرين وفي المنطقة الأوسع نطاقا، مما يشكل لحظة هامة في الجغرافيا الفنية للمملكة والبلدان المجاورة.
وأشار السيد شيخ خليفة بن أحمد إلى أن اليوبيل يمثل احتفالاً استثنائياً بالهيمنة الكبرى لمحرقة، مدعياً دورها كمصباح فني وهويتها الفريدة المرتبطة بمسار اللؤلؤ، والمنصوص عليها في قائمة التراث العالمي لليونسكو.
شدّد صاحب السعادة على تنظيم اليوبيل كجزء من الاحتفال البحرين ويؤكد سيسون التزام المملكة المستمر بإظهار التراث العام. وأشار إلى أن محرقة المدرجة في شبكة المدن الإبداعية التابعة لليونسكو تواصل تعزيز وجودها الفني بفضل تاريخها الحي ووسائل تراثها، مما يجعلها مركزا متجددا باستمرار للإبداع على الخريطة الفنية العالمية.
وأكد الشيخ خليفة بن أحمد أن اليوبيل يواصل النمو في كل مرة بسبب دوره في تعزيز العقل الفني، ودعمه زملاء من القطاعين العام والخاص يسهمون إسهاما كبيرا في نجاح هذا الحدث الفني الرئيسي.
The jubilee is organised by BACA in cooperation with the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BK) and the National Bank of Bahrain( NBB), as well as gold- league mates Aluminium Bahrain( Alba), Designative, GFH Financial Group, Gulf Petrochemical diligence Co.(GPIC), and National Bank of Kuwait( NBK). ويضم زملاء في الدوري مصرف السلام، والمكافآت الآسيوية في بيرغر، وباتلكو من جانب بيون، وبنك إيلا، وانفركور، وبنك خليجي. ويعكس هذا التعاون الدور الحيوي للقطاع الخاص في دعم المشاريع الفنية والنهوض بالمساعي الإبداعية في مملكة البحرين.
The fourth edition of Muharraq Nights runs daily until 30 December 2025, from Sunday to Wednesday, 5 PM to 10 PM, and from Thursday to Saturday, 5 PM to 12 AM. Events are held across multiple spots along the Pearling Path, which stretches 3.5 kilometres through the heart of the major megacity, where houses, yards and vibrant public spaces produce a sequence of live gests blending history and fustiness, offering callers pathways for disquisition that remain true to the spirit and identity of the place.
The jubilee’s expansive programme spans a variety of stations that transfigure into dynamic capitals where art, design, crafts, music, children’s conditioning, culinary gests and guided tenures cross forming interactive gests that connect the megacity’s heritage with its contemporary creative movement. In art, the Pearling Path features a broad diapason of visual and abstract gests that enrich cultural appreciation and speak to different cult, in collaboration with institutions including Al Riwaq Art Space, Albareh Art Space, The Art Station, Bu Saad Art Gallery and the Museum of Engraving and Printmaking – Jamal A. Rahim Art Gallery. Exhibitions across multiple venues show works by arising and established artists from Bahrain, the region and the world, gauging oil, photography and installation art. Highlights include In the Lapse of runs, Connecting Swell first presented during Bahrain’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka and other hassles reflecting the sprightliness of Muharraq’s creative geography. out-of-door installations further enrich the experience with benefactions from Bahraini and transnational artists.
In design, Muharraq Nights presents distinctive spaces that punctuate the uproariousness of original culture alongside contemporary design. This time features Assouline, Kalimat House from Saudi Arabia, and AlSadu Society from Kuwait. The Public runners series brings together indigenous and transnational publishers and bookshops, while the Design Majlis hosts addresses and creative sessions on armature, liar and visual culture. Meanwhile, the Under the limelight design revitalises ten traditional shops through design interventions inspired by Bahraini identity, incorporating civic heritage with existential tourism.
In crafts, callers explore essential factors of Bahraini heritage, with traditional houses and spots presenting authentic craft practices including Bait Al Naqda, Dar Al Banaeen Gypsum & Decorations, goldsmiths in Bu Mahir and Suq Al Qaysariyyah, Depaj Swords Workshop, Al Darwaza Carpentry, Bu Zaboon relics and Kurar House.
Musical and cultural performances further amp the major diggings of Muharraq, with traditional myth, women’s folk trades and live music hosted at Qal’at Bu Mahir, Dar Al Muharraq, Albareh House, Kalimat House, Suq Block 216, Suq Barahat Fakhro, Mohammed Bin Faris Music Hall, the Pearling Path Caller and Experience Centre, Jamsheer House and other locales.
Culinary stations along the Pearling Path offer traditional Bahraini dishes and transnational cookeries, with flavours presented in innovative forms inspired by original heritage. These outlets support original businesses, sustainability and vibrant social atmospheres.
Muharraq Nights also provides a creative educational experience for children, featuring shops on art, crafts, design and liar through the Creative Zone, Colour Lab, poppet
theatre, marine adventures and further nurturing imagination and introducing the youngish generation to Bahraini heritage interactively.
For grown-ups, the jubilee offers lectures, conversations and creative forums led by thinkers, artists and experts in trades, heritage and design, including Creative Horizons, Amana Creative Collaborative, Ta’a Al Shabab, Rashid AlZayani Foundation and the Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research.
tenures are among the name features of this edition, offering different heritage gests including sketching tenures, photography tenures, Pearling Path heritage tenures and thematic studies similar as Maritime Tales, 100 Times Since the Tab’aa and Between the Dawaees, organised by the Bahrain Students Architecture Association( BSAA). Cultural scooter tenures, bike tenures with Kashta tenures, erudite tenures and special tenures at the Pearl Museum – Siyadi Majlis are also available.
