Manama, June 10 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Nasser Center for Science and Technology and Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, confirmed that the Center’s creation of specialized educational pathways in line with future needs demonstrates its dedication to developing national talent with the means to succeed in the new knowledge economy.

In keeping with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the ongoing support of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad stated that equipping young people with knowledge and specialized skills is a national investment that boosts their global competitiveness and supports sustainable development efforts.

In the presence of HH Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, several ministers, high-ranking officials, and parents, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad sponsored the graduation ceremony for the tenth cohort of students from the Nasser Center for Science and Technology. 179 students from specialized educational streams, such as engineering, technology innovation, sports, and business management, graduated from the Center.

According to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, Bahraini youth are the country’s most valuable resource and the primary force behind development initiatives. He affirmed that the Center is still fulfilling its responsibility of producing competent young talent with the knowledge and skills necessary for them to compete and innovate in a variety of crucial sectors.

In his speech at the event, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, Chief Executive Officer of the Nasser Center for Science and Technology, stated that the tenth cohort’s graduation represents a major turning point in the Center’s ten-year record of accomplishments and reflects the advanced position it has established in the field of high-quality education and training through the introduction of innovative programs and specializations throughout the region. In addition to creating artificial intelligence solutions for businesses, he continued, the Center has broadened its offerings to include professional training for both individuals and organizations.

He pointed out that this cohort’s graduates have earned several internationally recognized certifications and accreditations in fields like cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, sports, and business management. This shows how well these programs have prepared skilled national talent in line with the highest academic standards and the demands of quickly changing economic and technological sectors. He wished the graduates well in their academic and professional endeavors.

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s standing as a premier hub for high-quality, specialized education in the region is strengthened by the Nasser Center for Science and Technology’s ongoing development of its educational routes and growth of its التعاون with foreign academic and professional institutions.
