The processing time has been shortened from 14 working days to seven thanks to a minimum 25% reduction in the service-level agreement. 50% less paperwork are needed, the service is now delivered automatically, service information is standardized across all channels, 25% fewer approvals are needed, and application forms are now accessible online.

According to Basma Mohammed Al Khayyat, Director of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments’ Minors’ Affairs and Funds Directorate, the launch is a component of the ministry’s initiatives to create more proactive services that are centered on the needs of beneficiaries and to finish processes on schedule. The experience of persons under guardianship and those in charge of their affairs will be enhanced, as will the effectiveness of services.

The organization actively monitors eligible cases and payment deadlines, she continued. Before finishing the permission and transfer processes, the ministry notifies the parent or person in charge of the student to start the payment process. The ministry contacts the educational institution to receive the invoice and verify that the student is still enrolled.

In order to verify students’ continuous enrollment and get updated invoices, the service seeks to proactively monitor school fee due dates and work directly with educational institutions. After that, it completes the approval process and sends the fees straight to the school, ensuring that payments continue while requiring fewer steps from the student’s parents or guardians.

Additionally, the service permits multiple students to be included in a single application, with different costs for each student. This makes the procedure easier. Currently, التعليمية institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain are covered by the service.

Over 1,300 government services have been recorded, translated, and published as part of continuous government initiatives to enhance and modernize government services. Based on recommendations and comments made through the national Tawasul ideas and complaints system, investor feedback, and mystery shopper reports assessing government services, almost 800 of these services have been developed and redesigned across various government sectors. In order to help Bahrain’s government’s digital transformation and enhance efficiency, service quality, and the beneficiary experience, guidance manuals and خدمة-level agreements have also been implemented.
