Manama, Oct. 28 (BNA): The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) said that 1,582 inspection campaigns and visits would be conducted between October 19 and 25. As a consequence, 73 offenders were deported and 15 irregular and breaching workers were detained.

In addition to 27 joint inspection campaigns, 16 campaigns in the Capital Governorate, 6 campaigns in the Muharraq Governorate, 3 campaigns in the Northern Governorate, and 2 campaigns in the Southern Governorate, the Authority noted that 1,555 inspection visits were conducted on various shops across all governorates.
The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority, the Social Insurance Organization, the Governorate’s corresponding Police Directorate, the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, the General Directorate of Crime Detection and Forensic Science, and the Coast Guard Command are among the government organizations that took part in the campaigns.
The Authority reaffirmed the continuation of cooperative coordination with الحكومة agencies to step up inspection campaigns in all of the Kingdom’s governorates and to deal with any infractions or practices that jeopardize the Kingdom’s economic and social security or the stability and competitiveness of the labor market.
