Kuwait, Feb. 1 (BNA): Bahrain’s national powerlifting team won the fourth Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Championship, hosted by Kuwait, after providing remarkable performances and winning 14 medals: 8 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze.

The accomplishment strengthens hopes for more success in upcoming contests by demonstrating the quick growth of powerlifting in Bahrain as well as the effectiveness of the team’s training and technical programs.
Bahraini lifters won numerous gold medals in different weight classes and performed exceptionally well in the Full Power, Body Power, and Light Power divisions. Sayed Majeed Al Aali won bronze and silver in the open weight division.
