Nov. 28, Manama (BNA): The sixth mini-school in Bahrain has been established in the Psychiatric Hospital by Government Hospitals in collaboration with the Bahrain Trust Foundation. By offering an educational setting inside the hospital to supplement therapeutic care, the program seeks to improve children’s mental health support.

According to Dr. Mariam Al Jalahma, Chief Executive of Government Hospitals, the school is a significant step toward bettering services for kids with behavioral and psychological issues by providing specialized programs that support their social and academic development while they receive treatment.
Over 10,500 students have benefited from the Bahrain Trust Foundation’s hospital schools thus far, according to Dr. Fatima Al Blooshi, Chairwoman. She emphasized how well the Foundation’s activity-based learning approach supports kids’ social and cognitive growth.
The goal of the mini-schools initiative is to guarantee that young patients receive appropriate educational assistance that promotes their wellness and facilitates a seamless transition back into regular life.
