November 11, Manama (BNA): The Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to bolstering and empowering youth worldwide. According to her, Bahrain’s steadfast dedication to advancing global initiatives for a more sustainable future is reflected in the King Hamad Award for Youth Empowerment to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
King Hamad Award for Youth Empowerment draws 8,200 entries from 100 countries
The fifth edition of the award, according to Minister Tawfiqi, builds on earlier achievements and keeps changing to reflect global trends in technology and sustainable development. She claimed that more young people, individuals, and organizations around the world are now eligible for the award thanks to the addition of additional categories and methods of participation.
She continued by saying that the prize has developed into a global platform that stimulates young people’s creativity and motivates them to transform their ideas into actual projects that further the Sustainable Development Goals.
The minister emphasized how the award’s message and reputation are becoming more and more trusted, as evidenced by the robust international reaction to this year’s edition. According to her, the King Hamad Award has evolved into a worldwide representation of young people’s brilliance and inventiveness in promoting sustainable development.
According to Minister Tawfiqi, approximately 8,200 entries from over 100 countries were received for the fifth edition, demonstrating the award’s increasing prominence on a global scale as a vital platform honoring young people’s creativity and the organizations that foster it.
Before beginning the judging process to choose winners in two primary categories—one for innovative and creative youngsters and another for youth-supporting activities and institutions—she continued, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated.
