October 27, Manama (BNA): The Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) of the Kingdom of Bahrain has given Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA), the training division of Gulf Air Group, the Gold Seal in recognition of its outstanding performance and ongoing dedication to excellence in aviation education and training. GAA offers aviation training to international standards throughout the MENA region.

Following a thorough institutional examination by BQA, which assessed GAA’s performance in three crucial areas—Assessment and Learners’ Achievement, Learners’ Engagement and Support for Learning, and Leadership and Management—the organization was recognized.

All GAA training programs, including as Pilot Training, Part 147 Engineering, Ground Operations, Air Traffic Control, and Cabin Crew Training, are covered under the certification.

The Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) was honored to acquire the BQA Gold Seal, which acknowledges the Academy’s continuous dedication to quality in aviation training and education, according to Captain Qassim Ismaeel, Chief Operations Officer of Gulf Air Group and GAA Accountable Manager.

He emphasized that this accomplishment is a testament to the commitment and professionalism of GAA’s leadership, staff, and teachers in maintaining the highest standards of performance and quality. He pointed out that the Gold Seal attests to the Academy’s training programs’ compliance with the strictest national and international requirements for aviation education.

According to Captain Qassim, this accreditation validates GAA’s standing as a regional leader in aviation training and fosters trust and confidence among the Academy’s partners, airlines, and regulatory agencies. In order to guarantee that every trainee receives top-notch aviation instruction, he emphasized the Academy’s dedication to continuing to invest in innovation, technology, and instructor development. Lastly, he mentioned that the award also helps Gulf Air Group achieve its overarching objective of becoming into a regional center for superior aviation instruction.

After receiving an Outstanding rating in 2015–2016 and again in 2018–2019, this is the third time GAA has been recognized at this level. The BQA Gold Seal is a distinguished accolade given to educational and training establishments that are at the top of their industry in terms of performance and quality.
