October 25, Manama (BNA): As part of the 3rd Asian Youth Games, which the Kingdom is hosting until October 31 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), attended the mixed martial arts (MMA) finals at Exhibition World Bahrain.

Ibragim Khalidov won the 70kg title, Abdulakim Babaev won the 65kg title, and Eldar Eldarov won the 60kg title for Bahrain’s national mixed martial arts team.
The athletes’ impressive accomplishments were praised by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, who also expressed delight in their accomplishment, pointing out that the outcomes demonstrate Bahraini sports‘ ongoing advancement and the growth of the country’s combat-trained talent.
His Highness emphasized his support for athletes as they continue to strive for success in upcoming regional and international contests and the significance of building on current achievements.
