October 21, Manama (BNA): With two straight wins in the women’s doubles competition, Bahrain’s Teqball national team launched their campaign at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, which they will host till October 31. This demonstrated the squad’s high level of preparation and spirit of competition.

After defeating the Philippines in straight sets in their initial encounter, Bahrain‘s Rawan Abdulaziz and Fatima Al Banna continued their strong play by defeating India 2-1 after a fierce battle.
Hussein Isa and Ali Hasan lost their first Group A match against the Philippines in straight sets in the men’s doubles competition. Thailand, India, Egypt, and Cambodia also defeated the pair by the same score.
