According to Al Buainain, the prize is a testament to the Council’s dedication to fostering community involvement, conserving Bahrain’s traditional values, and bolstering national identity. He said that the prize will honor exceptional efforts to advance Bahraini identity; specifics and the target audiences—youth, institutions, and individuals—will be revealed soon.
“Building on the success of the Council’s previous digital projects launched during the sixth legislative term, the Secretariat-General continues to implement a range of artificial intelligence and digital transformation initiatives to support legislative and oversight work,” he added. The Inter-legislative Union and other parliaments have acknowledged these efforts, which have improved the effectiveness of legislative work and supported Bahrain’s continuous development ambitions.
The Secretary-General noted the ongoing efforts to further national goals and commended the commitment and proficiency of Bahraini professionals who work as part of “Team Bahrain” within the Secretariat-General. In collaboration with national institutions, public society, and the media, he also restated the Secretariat’s dedication to enhancing citizen engagement and raising parliamentary awareness.
