The delegation was briefed on the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts to maintain a stable workplace that protects the rights of all parties, as well as the Kingdom’s innovative efforts in this area, especially the Regional Center of Excellence and Capacity Building for Combating Trafficking in Persons (RCoE) and the Wage Protection System (WPS).

The Expatriate Protection Center’s role in offering comprehensive services, such as legal advice and preventive support, as well as housing for victims or those who may be at risk, was also explained to the group. As the initial point of contact for recognizing and detecting signs of human trafficking and occupational exploitation, the Center also plays a significant role in the national framework to combat human trafficking.
