August 24, Manama (BNA): For the back-to-school season, the Industry Ministry and Commerce started a number of programs to help locals and people by guaranteeing high-quality goods at reasonable costs.
Industry Ministry launches back-to-school initiatives
In order to encourage businesses to provide discounts on school-related products such stationery, uniforms, gadgets, furniture, food items, and more, the Consumer Protection Directorate launched the “Consumer’s Friend” campaign. The initiative ends in November 2025.
In order to provide families with a variety of options, the Ministry also unveiled a comprehensive inspection strategy to keep an eye on product quality, availability, and fair pricing.
In addition to stressing the importance of Bahraini families and shops in making the back-to-school season easier and more promising for students, the Ministry also emphasized that it is a chance to improve public-private collaborations.
