Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): The National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) announced the creation of a service that will shorten the time it takes to register or update goods data from thirty to seven working days.
National Bureau for Revenue cuts goods registration service time to seven working days
Thru the NBR’s web portal, the service enables producers and importers that meet the necessary standards to register new items or update data for current products.
According to NBR Chief Executive Officer Rana Ibrahim Faqihi, the revised service streamlines review and approval processes, allowing for quicker processing and simpler regulatory compliance.
The project is a component of broader government initiatives to enhance and modernize services. The National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul), investor input, and mystery shopper reports have all contributed to the development and redesign of 800 of the more than 1,300 government services that have been documented, translated, and published.
