Manama, Feb. 11 (BNA): The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf created the disbursement service for minors’ living expenses as part of government efforts to improve and re-engineer the quality of services. This service allows guardians of minors and those with a similar status to submit requests to cover a variety of living expenses.
Justice Ministry develops disbursement service for minors’ living expenses
The Minors Affairs and Funds Service Center is where applications can be tracked under the improved service. Three working days are now the processing time instead of seven working days. The required documentation have been reduced to a single document, and a single permission form has been established for all parties. There is a minimum of a 25% reduction in the service level agreement, a maximum of four application phases, and a 25% reduction in the number of necessary approvals. In order to expedite request processing and enhance procedural efficiency and quality, application forms have also been transformed into electronic formats, and service information has been consolidated across all channels.
The ongoing improvement of services for minors and all those covered by the Guardianship Council for Minors’ Funds is a top priority that helps to support their affairs and meet their basic needs, according to Issa Sami Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Waqf for Justice Affairs.
Over 1,300 government services have been released, translated, and documented as part of continuous government efforts to develop and re-engineer them; approximately 800 services are now being developed and re-engineered across different government sectors.
The National System for Suggestions and Complaints, Tawasul, investor feedback, secret shopper surveys assessing government services, the introduction of guidance manuals and service level agreements, and other suggestions and feedback about government services provide the basis for this.
These initiatives enhance the government’s digital transformation process, strengthen beneficiary experiences, improve procedural efficiency, and improve service quality.
