Manama, Jan. 20 (BNA): The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) improved the service for sending reports of specialized medical committees to judicial authorities as part of government efforts to improve the quality of services and re-engineer them. This helps to improve the experience of beneficiaries by streamlining processes, updating mechanisms, and expediting the completion of requests.

In addition to lowering the number of permissions needed to receive the service, the developed service has shortened the completion period from 115 days to 25 days. This helps to streamline the investigation process in cases that are referred by judicial authorities. It begins with the disciplinary committees for health professions issuing and approving the final decision, which is then submitted to the appropriate judicial authority to determine the pertinent procedures in cases involving medical errors.

The service, according to NHRA CEO Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, demonstrates the Authority’s use of creative solutions to provide its services in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency and to improve the client experience.

According to Dr. Al Ansari, the service’s introduction shows the Authority’s dedication to strengthening the effectiveness of work and regulatory processes, cutting down on time and effort for pertinent institutions, and improving its services.

Over 1,300 government services have been documented, translated, and published as part of continuous government efforts to develop and re-engineer services; about 800 of these services have undergone development and re-engineering in a variety of sectors.

The National System for Proposals and Complaints (Tawasul), investor feedback, mystery shopper reports for assessing government services, and the introduction of service level agreements and guideline manuals served as the basis for this.

These initiatives promote the route of government digital transformation, increase procedural efficiency, improve the quality of services offered, and improve the experience of recipients.
