Dec. 4, Manama (BNA): Today, the Prime Minister’s Office declared that applications for the seventh Government Innovation Competition (Fikra) are now closed.
The PMO announces the conclusion of Fikra’s application period
Fikra, founded under the orders of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, intends to strengthen the contributions of the national workforce in supporting the government’s development efforts and realizing the Kingdom’s ultimate ambitions.
The application period ran from Sunday, 2 November, until Wednesday, 3 December. The evaluation committee has started the screening process after receiving applications from different government agencies.
Fikra has helped promote a culture of creativity and innovation within the public sector, in keeping with national ambitions and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
The competition also contributes to increasing government performance and improving the services supplied to people and residents through the ideas and concepts presented, all of which assist the Kingdom’s sustainable growth.
