Dec. 1, Manama (BNA): In honor of Bahraini Women’s Day, which was observed this year under the theme “Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation,” the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) held a celebration to recognize the exceptional work and contributions of its female employees to developmental and humanitarian projects.

The Secretary General of RHF, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, praising her leadership in improving the status of Bahraini women in all spheres.

The accomplishments of Bahraini women under His Majesty the King’s leadership, according to Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa, show a visionary dedication to empowering women and strengthening their role in national development. Additionally, he praised the Supreme Council for Women, which is headed by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim, for creating a model that is acknowledged locally, regionally, and globally.

Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa went on to say that Bahraini women have demonstrated a commitment to humanitarian work, whether they are spearheading development and relief initiatives in Bahrain and overseas or helping widows, orphans, and families in need. He was proud of the significant contributions made by the female employees of the RHF.

In keeping with the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women and the Kingdom’s sustainable development goals, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa added that the RHF has given women a key role in its development strategy, allowing them to take on leadership roles and take part in the creation and execution of programs.
