Nov. 18, Manama (BNA): Today, the Agro Careers digital platform was launched under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

This platform, the first of its type in the Kingdom, offers professional and academic advice to prospective farmers.
His Highness emphasized the significance of the agricultural sector, pointing out that its growth may empower and draw Bahrainis from the area, spurring further innovation in agriculture. His Highness stated that these initiatives, which are headed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, enhance the Kingdom’s overall growth.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the critical role that the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), which is led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the NIAD’s Advisory Council, plays in furthering the Kingdom’s agricultural industry.
In order to improve Bahrain’s food security and further the Kingdom’s sustainable development objectives, His Highness emphasized the importance of agriculture. His Highness continued by reiterating Bahrain’s dedication to implementing progressive policies that promote agricultural innovation and facilitate the prosperity of the Kingdom’s farmers.
The establishment of the Agro Careers site, according to HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman, is an important step in introducing younger generations to new agricultural professions. He emphasized that these efforts guarantee alignment between future career choices and the changing demands of the sector.
Along with Bahrain Bayan School students and those who helped create the Agro Careers platform film, the celebration honored the platform’s partners and supporters. The “Forever Green” campaign’s volunteers were also honored for their contributions to the advancement of community-based and agricultural projects.
NIAD’s continuous efforts to increase awareness of opportunities in agricultural technology, environmental sciences, and plant production include the Agro Careers portal. The platform seeks to direct upcoming generations toward specializations that satisfy labor market demands and promote industry innovation. In addition to offering thorough insights into agricultural careers to assist students in making well-informed and forward-thinking career options, it has an extensive database that supports the Kingdom’s aims for socioeconomic and environmental development.
