November 12, Manama (BNA): At the cybersecurity awards event, which took place on the fringes of the third Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS 2025), the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) was given the “Public Sector Cyber Vision Award.

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, the National Cybersecurity Center organized the event in collaboration with the international DEF CON Conference.
The award demonstrates NBR’s dedication to strengthening information security and putting global cybersecurity best practices into effect, guaranteeing data security and privacy in a cutting-edge digital environment.
Information security is a strategic goal for the bureau and a key component of its digital transformation vision, according to NBR Chief Executive Officer Rana Ebrahim Faqihi, who expressed delight in this accomplishment. She thanked the NBR personnel for their commitment and aggressive efforts in bolstering the bureau’s cybersecurity capabilities and stated that the award represents Bahrain’s ongoing progress in creating a safe, reliable, and resilient digital ecosystem.
