November 11, Manama (BNA): As part of its continuous efforts to improve traffic safety throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain, the General Directorate of Traffic has begun the trial phase of a project to install 500 smart cameras.
Traffic Directorate launches trial phase of smart camera installation project
In order to prepare for the project’s expansion to other parts of the Kingdom, a number of cameras will be installed at specific sites during the trial period in order to evaluate their performance, technological efficiency, and compatibility with current electronic systems.
This program is a part of the Directorate’s ongoing efforts to increase traffic monitoring and road safety by utilizing cutting-edge smart technologies that boost field performance and service quality.
