October 28, Manama (BNA): Her Highness The 27th Tabaq Al Khair (Charity Dish) festival was opened by Al Noor Charity Welfare Society Honorary President Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. The gathering brought together local community representatives, businesswomen, and members of the Society.

HH Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa emphasized the Kingdom of Bahrain’s lengthy history of community service, pointing out that charity endeavors continue to be an essential component of Bahraini culture. Her Highness praised the festival’s varied participation, which provides funding for house improvement and medical assistance programs as well as help for widows, orphans, and low-income families.

The annual festival, according to Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of the Al Noor Charity Welfare Society, aims to help low-income families through the Society’s initiatives covering healthcare, education, and orphan care, as well as Quran memorization and cultural programs. She emphasized how crucial it is to keep the business sector involved in order to improve philanthropic endeavors.

Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed described the celebration as a symbol of social togetherness and thanked HH Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa for her continued support.

According to the Society’s vice president, Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the occasion offers a stage for showcasing Bahraini women’s culinary arts abilities and handcrafted goods while conserving the Kingdom’s culinary and cultural legacy.

The Society’s Chairperson of the Public Relations and Media Committees, Hanan Saif, praised HH Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa and Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed for their assistance in promoting the organization’s initiatives and strengthening the influence of community service.

Winners in several festival categories were honored for their inventive presentation, décor, and cookery. The Children and Mothers Welfare Society, Women for Jerusalem Society, Shaikha Hessa bint Ali Al Khalifa Center for Elderly Women Care, and the Basma Quran Memorization Center were among the organizations that received awards of praise from Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed.
