October 22, Manama (BNA): Several dive shops were the subject of a coordinated inspection campaign by the Coast Guard Command. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, the Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) collaborated on this operation.
Coast Guard leads joint inspection campaign on diving shops
The program is a component of continuous initiatives to improve maritime safety and security and to make sure that establishments abide by pertinent rules and regulations.
In order to ensure a controlled and secure working environment, the Coast Guard Command emphasized that the campaign concentrated on confirming the legitimacy of valid licenses, making sure equipment satisfies safety standards, and examining the status of employees and their official permissions.
In order to increase adherence to legal standards and advance maritime safety, the Command emphasized that these coordinated campaigns show the collaboration and integration of many security and regulatory organizations.
Additionally, it stated that any infractions found during the inspections have been addressed with the appropriate legal action.
