October 21, Manama (BNA): Following the successful integration and transfer of all its services to the unified MyGov app, the Electricity & Water Services App will be officially discontinued on Thursday, October 23, according to an announcement made by the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) and the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA).
iGA, EWA integrate Electricity and Water Services App into MyGov App
This action demonstrates the government’s dedication to its objective to consolidate its mobile apps into three primary platforms: the Bahrain app for tourists, the Al Tajir app for companies and investors, and the MyGov app for individuals.
Bill and connection fee payments, inquiries and payments for past and present bills, viewing of previous payments, consumption summaries, average consumption calculations and comparisons, and access to EWA service center locations are among the new electricity and water eServices available on the MyGov app. These are offered in addition to a variety of other eGovernment services, making it simple and convenient for consumers to finish their transactions.
All citizens and residents are encouraged by the iGA and EWA to continue using the MyGov app, which can be downloaded from the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps, the National Portal, bahrain.bh, or the EWA website, www.ewa.bh, to access water, electricity, and other government services.
Additional details can be found by calling the EWA Customer Service Center at 17515555 or by sending in comments and recommendations using the Tawasul app or the National recommendations and Complaints System (Tawasul).
The MyGov app, which offers 89 services and features, saw over 550,000 downloads between February 2025 and August 2025.
