October 20, Manama (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa is sponsoring the 3rd Asian Youth Games, which will take place from October 22 to October 31, 2025. As part of the preparations, Minister of Information Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi went on a field trip to assess the technical setup and media facilities’ preparedness for covering the event and its related activities.

According to Minister Al Noaimi, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting of this significant event is a testament to its solid reputation both domestically and internationally for planning important sporting events under the direction of His Majesty the King and at the direction of Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
All teams working to ensure the success of the Games now have a clear roadmap thanks to the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman and Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and the follow-up of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the SCYS’s First Deputy Chairman, the General Sports Authority’s (GSA) and the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
During his visit to Bahrain Sports Channel’s studio at the Ministry headquarters, which was built especially for comprehensive coverage of the Games, the Information Minister examined the technological support systems and broadcasting preparations. In addition, he followed up on plans for the opening ceremony at Exhibition World Bahrain and examined the media center at the Bahrain National Stadium to supervise setup and amenities enabling regional and worldwide media coverage.
He emphasized that in order to guarantee thorough coverage utilizing cutting-edge digital technology, the ministry has mobilized all of its media and technical resources, reflecting Bahrain’s standing and skills in the regional sports scene.
Minister Al Noaimi came to the conclusion that the Games‘ successful hosting and widespread media coverage will showcase Team Bahrain’s spirit of cooperation and solidify the Kingdom’s position as a premier regional venue for important athletic events.
