Al Mubarak reaffirmed the ministry’s dedication to advancing strategic alliances with the private sector by carrying out projects that further Bahrain’s development goals. In accordance with the comprehensive development process headed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, he emphasized that such efforts foster urban and economic growth and help achieve sustainability across sectors.

As Bahrain’s urban development continues to advance, the minister emphasized the crucial role that the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects, which is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, plays in promoting strategic projects and growing collaboration with the private sector.

He received an update on the status of the Seef Downtown project, which covers about 24,000 square meters. He pointed out that the initiative improves the Seef area’s appeal by integrating business and recreation into an integrated urban paradigm. He reiterated the Ministry’s backing for development and economic projects that complement Bahrain‘s Economic Vision 2030.

Restaurants, cafes, a public promenade, green areas, medical and administrative buildings, adaptable commercial spaces, drive-through stores for well-known brands, and parking lots are all part of the project.

The 2025 Arabian Property Awards recently recognized the Seef Downtown project with two distinguished awards: “Best Leisure Development” and “Best Leisure Architectural Design.”
